Firtsly, kepribadian apa sih? Personality itu apa? Personality in general mean is from 'persona' word. persona is the mask that often wear by actor/actrees opera in the age of Roman. Sedangkan, Personality according to psychology is the unique step from an individual to mean their life experiment and contained within the individual that guides and gives direction to the whole behavior of the individual concerned.
Florence Litteur, the writer of "Personality Plus" said that human has four characteristic:
First is Sanguinis or The Most Popular. Orang Sanguinis ini cendrung ingin populer, ingin disenangi oleh orang lain. Their life is just around the existence and the popularity. They likes to talk a lot without being able to be stopped. Gejolak emosinya bergelombang dan transparan. When they were happy, they can change in an instant to be sad and cry.But, the sanguinis is slightly forgetful, hard to consentration, 'short minded' and had irregular life.
Second is melancholic or The Perfectionist. Orang Sempurna ini cenderung rapi, teratur, rapi, terjadwal sesuai pola. The melancholy people tend to analyze, think, consider, and if the talk must have been what he said was really the result that he was thinking very deeply.
Third is koleris or The Stronger. Mereka ini suka sekali mengatur orang, suka tunjuk-tunjuk atau perintah-perintah orang. Akibat sifatnya yang `bossy’ itu membuat banyak orang koleris tak punya banyak teman. Orang-orang berusaha menghindar, menjauh agar tak jadi `korban’ karakternya yang suka `ngatur’ dan tak mau kalah itu. The Stronger like adventure and the challenge. They always thinks that only them who can solve the challenge. They didn't easily to give up and succumb.
Fourth is Phlegmatis or Peace Lover. The Phlegmatis hate conflict, Because of that they would do anything even though they did not like doing that. Baginya kedamaian adalah segala-galanya. Jika timbul masalah atau pertengkaran, ia akan berusaha mencari solusi yang damai tanpa timbul pertengkaran.
Kaum phlegmatis kurang bersemangat, kurang teratur dan serba dingin. Cenderung diam, kalem, dan kalau memecahkan masalah umumnya sangat menyenangkan. With the patient, they can be a good listener, but if they will make a decision, they will procrastinate. Kalau anda lihat tiba-tiba ada sekelompok orang berkerumun mengelilingi satu orang yang asyik bicara terus, maka pastilah parapendengar yang berkerumun itu orang-orang phlegmatis. Sedang yang bicara tentu saja sang Sanguinis. Kadang sedikit serba salah berurusan dengan para phlegmatis ini. Ibarat keledai, “kalau didorong ngambek, tapi kalau dibiarin nggak jalan”. So if you have a partner or phlegmatis' friend, you must motivating them until they motivated solely by himself.
